Building a Mystery: Building a Dynamic Mindfuck Scene with Axis and Maeve

The mind is the most important sexual organ in the body… Come learn the many ways in which you can incorporate Mindfucking into your play and dynamics to build better scenes and take them to higher levels of depth and sensory satisfaction.

In this class you will learn about the different techniques to mess with the mind in ethical ways to bring your play partners to heightened states of arousal, catharsis, and even healing. Axis and Maeve will guide you through the many ways both tops and bottoms can utilize mindfuckery, as well as how to navigate boundaries, negotiation, scene building, the potential for triggering during scenes, and the special mental and emotional methods of care in scene and aftercare needed when messing with the mind.

Please make an effort! Fetishwear, all-black, and lingerie are all encouraged. Work clothes, athletic wear, shorts, caps and street clothes are discouraged.

PRESENTERS:
@MaeveMcBride (she/her/they), is a clinical sexological herbalist, erotic and BDSM coach, educator, published writer, member of the DMRG leadership, and co-host/head DM of 50 Shades of STFU, who has been exploring the intersections of kink, personal alchemy, plants, and healing for nearly 20 years.

A fun, sensual, compassionate, switch-witch, Maeve enjoys empowering folx of all persuasions to explore and define their boundaries, enhance their communication skills, and connect with their desires and their play partners on deeper levels while simultaneously exploring their bodies, healing trauma and shame, and experimenting with pleasure and pleasurable pain.

She loves working with newbies, people with trauma histories that inhibit their sexual joy, exhausted parents, enthusiastic-consenters, folx who experience chronic pain, disability, and illness that effects their pleasure, and anyone who wants to improve their erotic lives.

@Axis is the Lead DM for Missing Kink PDX, part of DMRG leadership(dubbed “the pretty one” by his co-leads), a regular Sanctuary DM, and occasional presenter of interesting kinky subjects.

Formerly, he was the Bondage-a-Go-Go deputy DM at the Glass Kat, event host, organizer, Citadel DM, and infrequent Upper Floor fly-on-the-wall in San Francisco and the wider Bay Area.

A dynamic and highly methodical sadist with a “unique” sense of humor, Axis is quite the fan of subjugation, objectification, prime numbers, mindfuckery, obedience, control, fear, and select forms of playful arbitrary intensity.

Being a multifaceted creature, in his free time he enjoys building things, handfeeding squirrels, claiming he is an old man, and posting his culinary creations on Instagram.
