Knotty Acts: Feathers & Fringe
Welcome to an artistic exploration of Shibari and beyond!
We’ll be ruffling feathers, bringing out fringe players, and partying as if it’s 1929 (but without all that pesky prohibition and other injustices).
No pushing rope here; this spectacular evening of artistic engagement is bound to enthrall and turn on all your kinks.
So come check us out and blow your load (of cash), as we commit some Knotty Acts!
Focuses & Featurettes!
-
We’ll be clowning around with all sorts of circusy acts designed to tickle and delight the senses. Get ready for aerial tricks, flowing flips, and other shit you won’t see anywhere else as we unload a clown car of talent for this event.
-
We’ll show you the ropes with sampler ties. We’ve got a bundle of rope tops ready to tie you into something pretty, restrictive, or both! Show up early to sign up and ensure your spot.
-
What are wire wraps if not crystals in tiny metal shibari? Artizen Creations will have a stand set up with all sorts of beautiful wraps for the precious gem in your life.
-
Our in-house photographer, Rheality In Color, has helped us put together a photo gallery full of rope, flesh, and fashion. Prints available for purchase, cash preferred.
-
The fool’s journey and the future are both quite telling; so let Love Cult tell you about yours with tarot and other divination card readings.
Rules and Etiquette
This rendition of Knotty Acts is a rope jam style! Bring your own rope and tie yourself (or your trusted bottom) while you watch. Beware you don’t get bratty though; any distractions to the performances will result in immediate suspension (and not the good kind).
Do not interrupt performance acts or touch rope bottoms without their consent. You will be cuffed, or stuffed, whichever your offense calls for.
Phones are fun, but should be hitched inside your pockets, bags, or beemers. Our in-house media team will be doing the floor work for the event.
Donations & tips are always appreciated! Proceeds from the show go to a group fund and are split equally between all members. We encourage you to follow the artists’ varied socials or paid pages if you want more of their individual content or to tip them directly.
Although no one will enforce a dress code, we encourage you to come on theme! Feathers, fringe, and flappers, all welcome! Circus folks and clowns, come put your best face forward! Dressing on theme also gets you a $5 discount at the door
$10 Cash // $12 CC (dressed on theme)
$15 Cash // $17 CC (not on theme)
Doors at 6pm, show starts at 6:30pm
Sanctuary is 21+, LGBTQ+, ADA accessible, anti-racist, and celebrates diversity. Enter on Ninth and take stairs or elevator to the second floor.
