BroadCast: Stars Talk

BroadCast is Sanctuary’s monthly live gathering for the broad spectrum of women and gender expansive folks who find a home in women’s spaces and who are living and exploring lifestyle, swinging, polyam, consensual non-monogamy, and other sex positive non-vanilla ways of being in the world. BroadCast is a unique and lively circle of support where we gather monthly to drink drinks, be ourselves, ask questions, share ideas, evoke empathy and compassion, and share lots of laughter!
BroadCast gathers the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm, which is followed by Bi-Night at 9:00 pm (cis-men are welcome to enter starting with Bi-Night at 9:00 pm). BroadCast event fee is $5.00 and this gets you into both BroadCast and Bi-Night.
The STARS Talk is a framework that helps one to have meaningful and intimate, consent-based discussions that are vital for healthy relationships. It is an easy-to-remember acronym that helps to begin a conversation leading to consensual great sex. STARS stands for Sexual Health/STI Status, Turn-On’s, Avoids, Relationship Intentions, and Safer Sex Etiquette.
Evelin Dacker, MD is a Board-Certified Integrative and Holistic Family Physician who specializes in sexual health and consent. More information about her background and resources can be found at www.evelindacker.com.
In preparation for this event, Dr. Dacker recommends folks visit her website www.maketimeforthetalk.com and download a free copy of the STARS Workbook which is a fillable workbook she will be referencing during her presentation.
Having generously offered her time and expertise, we will be taking donations for Dr. Dacker’s travel time to attend this event. While donations are not obligatory, anything that folks can offer above the $5.00 door fee to support her time, mileage, health, and wellbeing in return is appreciated.
