Join your favorite menace duo, Josie and Cinder, as they discuss, demonstrate and allow you to try different techniques to use rope to evoke pain. These are some of our favorite ways to get a reaction from the folx we are tying. So prepare for shouts, pain giggles, sweating and cursing!
We will focus on simple patterns requiring little more than a single column, rude rope handling and how to increase the spice with other mediums.

Please bring 1-2 hanks of rope (8m or 30 ft), a safety rope cutting tool, and a barrier for the ground optional but recommended).
We will have some jute rope to lend to those who need it.
Presenters
MxJosiePosie (They/Them)
is a queer, neurodivergent, gleefully sadistic asshole that has been in the kink community since 2018 and is a Co-host of Spanktuary, Kink Educator and DM. Josie is a true switch who thrives on mindfucks, predicaments and sadistic rope. They enjoy both sides of the slash for impact, rope, rough body play, and sharp things. Josie graduated from Bondage Soup in 2022 as a bottom and 2023 as a top. They advocate for body positivity and inclusivity in rope and kink communities. Josie believes strongly that all people that want to be in rope belong in rope and seeks to find adaptations to fit for each human they tie.
Cinder (He/Him)
Born and raised in Portland, Cinder is a queer, sadistic, switchy top deeply passionate about BDSM and kink education since discovering the kink community in 2018. He brings his excitement about kink into his laid back teaching style and enjoys sharing not just what he is doing, but the why behind it. Cinder delights in playful sadism through rope bondage, impact, rough body play, sharp things, and dad jokes. As the owner of Whip City Floggers, he enjoys making floggers and other delightfully mean toys to achieve these ends. Cinder can often be found engaging in community service through DMing, tastings and event hosting, as well as nerding out about various aspects of BDSM. As a 2022 Bondage Soup cohort graduate, he actively contributes to community growth and skill development in and outside of his local communities.

After the workshop, there will be a brief rundown of the Spanktuary Party rules and dungeon etiquette before turning the room over for the party!
